Jacksonville,
Fla. (February 12, 2008) – Carol Morales has been promoted to the position of general manager at Plaza III,
The Steakhouse. Morales joined the restaurant in March 2007 as business manager.
Prior
to joining Plaza III, she was the food and beverage supervisor at Sawgrass for more than a year.
In
addition to her work in the restaurant industry, Morales also served six years in the US Navy. After finishing
her tour of duty as Petty Officer, Third Class, she relocated to Jacksonville in 1995.
Also, Justin Connell
has been reassigned to serve as assistant general manager at Plaza III. Connell has worked as the restaurant
since it opened in December 2005.
Prior to Plaza III, Connell was a general manager for Moe’s Southwest
Grill for two years and worked as a manager for Seven Bridges on Southside Boulevard for nearly four years.
Locally owned and operated by restaurant entrepreneurs J. Bard and Linda McLean, Plaza III, The

Plaza III originated in Kansas City, Missouri in 1963 and the
Jacksonville location is one of only five in the United States. Plaza III has been recognized as a “Top
Ten of America’s Steakhouses” by Zagats, and has received the Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence.”
Plaza III opens at 11:30 a.m. on weekdays, serving lunch and dinner, and at 4:30 for dinner only on
Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant offers regular
